It's sunny sunny once more and this morning, was at a "vide grenier" in town ('garage sale' for you?). Anyway, I didn't see so many people in once at that kind of thing. Even the other years, the sellers aren't all already arrived on the place in the morning. This year, there was only 2 not yet installed; too bad for them
In addition of plenty people, there was plenty English ones and plenty dogs too.
Unfortunately, I found only 1 DVD which interested me. There were cool things, but of you haven't a house, and a big one, you can't take them
Oh, on my way in the middle of the crowd, I crossed one of my former colleagues. She made like if she didn't see me, and that was really fine for me like I wanted to don't say hello to her. But I have no doubt I will be between Monday's "cancans"

We are going to be at 77 degrees by midday....Did a lot of yardwork already and Sunday is a day of rest so I hope all others enjoy that 77 degrees outside....But on a good note...I will have the windows open so the animals can enjoy it.....

Aelin, Here they have what is called Maxwell Street Days.... This is the 2023 listing....They are still setting up this years agenda.   Got a lot of my comics during the Maxwell Street Days...At great prices...and some free....

Unfortunately, not a single bande-dessinée I wished to find was on sale. Only few of those I already have.
I think we'll have one also in July, but not sure. And the mega "braderie" on mid-August. If I don't work the day it is, I would be able to see what is there.

I have no luck finding comics at our local Maxwell Street Days either...which is why I make the trip to "Mad City"  (Madison).  Comics are big there since it's a College Town.

Hey folks. Just got to answering TL's DM. Response went something like this:

Still alive. Hopefully had my last surgery for a while on Thursday. They let me out yesterday. Ed's kid will be back from vacation some time this week so I am back home again. Any more MRIs and brain scans and my bank cards will start degaussing. I'm already my own pale green nightlight. Don't need to worry about stubbing my toe in the dark anymore. Makes the night time bathroom trips a lot safer. Still pretty cripsy around the edges but I'm hangin' in there.

Thanks for the response PDG....Got the healing prayers still at full force.......Don't know of any money prayers.....but I'll make one up for the Hell of it...one never knows...

I think that those of us who have had to deal with lethal health problems, the prayer we have is Please give me some relief to this mess!
The pain can be off the charts, the worry too.   Knowing you sit on the short dirty end of the stick is pretty bad dealings.   But ya go with what ya actually have.  Be realistic.  And put your energy into getting better.  Tough?  Yep.  Worth it?  Absolutely!

So, THANKS hugely for ALL the prayers sent up for me folks.    You mean far more to me than you know!  I believe that prayers DO get answered.   Not always the way  you might want, but always in ways needed.   Yes, thanks to you all, and  most of all, To HIM who we pray TO!   THANK you Lord, for your Hand in my life, for  your healing touch, for ANY thing you want to do!  THANK YOU !!!!!!!
