Cookie Baby is a jealous cat, not wanting to share me with the others, much of the time. But, she will come around, sooner or later to welcome the baby of the family. When I first got Itty Bitty, she took her under her care, and soon they were the best of friends. Then when I moved in with my brother, the two of them blamed each other for the move. Itty Bitty then ran away, and I never saw her again. Since then we have had three other cats join our family. Two were killed by dogs, and the other one is McCartney, and we still have him. He needs a female that is not fixed, and we decided the best way for that to happen is to get a female kitten. By the time she is old enough, we want her to become McCartney's mate, and produce at least one or two litters before we get her and him fixed. With her markings, we're sure the kitties will be born with interesting fur patterns. McCartney is a grey tabby, so imagine what the patterns will look like.

Patience Phillips!    I remember that well, it's still a great movie.   Good name for her.  Congrats man!  Good thinking about breeding some before neutering.   I wish I'd had that opportunity with Tattoo.  But, he came to me at 8 months old, nearly full grown and already neutered.  Mogwai might still respond to a female in heat.  Not sure.  Yes, the vet did the fixing on him.  Time will tell.  :)

I had McCartney in my arms yesterday evening and Patience came and crawled up to snuggle with him and me. He was the perfect gentleman cat, like I knew he would be. She has already taken to me and him, and of course my brother. Cookie is the one being antisocial thus far. She'll get over it.

Yes, that is an excellent movie! Halley makes a perfect Catwoman! She makes me eyeballs pop outta me head to look at her in that hot looking catsuit! :hubbahubba:

Our new feline family member, the kitten we named Patience, has an unusual way of playing. She finds something she decides is a toy, and dances with it. She jumps and spins around with kitty grace, looking like a feline ballet dancer! It is amazing to watch. She also jumps and flips over backwards. She's a regular little acrobat, or should I say acrocat?!
We estimate her age at about 3 1/2 months. At that age she is already eating as much as Cookie Baby eats; looking like she swallowed a baseball afterwards. She's smart too. We had to change the eating arrangement for all of our cats, because after she finishes her meal, she wants to finish the other two cats' meals as well. so we finally settled in on a routine, and she picked up on it immediately, knowing exactly where she gets hers, and where we put the other cat's dishes during feeding time. McCartney and Cookie Baby sometimes leave a little in their dishes. Patience licks her dish clean, and will do the same with theirs if they leave any. Makes washing their dishes much easier.
When Patience wants some attention, she'll stand on my chest, and look me in the eyes, meanwhile putting her paw on my mouth, gently. It is so cute, I cannot resist petting her. And like the other two, she loves to bury her head in my beard. All of our cats love my beard. Makes me think I better not cut it off! LOL
