i JUST caught Tattoo dominating Mogwai.  And  also saw WHY.  Mogwai had jumped Tattoo like a kitten would, trying to get him to play.  He didn't want to!  LOL!  They both seem real happy to have me back home.   Love.  That's where HOME is!  Now they are lying together, grooming each other.   :o)

Goodnight folks!

McG.

Hey Oz is the Ol Man, it's his place to in the natural realm!   Tattoo accepted Mogwai when he was born, took him proudly as his own (if cats even DO that!).   Tattoo taught the young ones out in the yard, and Mogwai in the house.   Mogwai, even 10 years old, tests the limits I guess.   Tattoo up and reinforces em pretty much as needed.   AH the old man just got up and strolled over to my lap.  Heh!

Oz is the big brother, as well as like a father for them. To him to decide what role he takes and when.
Juliette was that way with Tania, and even Harry (the dog). The difference is she didn't want to have them at home, and was shocked when they came. But she was a kind soul, so quickly accepted them. Harry just in cohabitation (and occasionnaly a pushingball if he put his nose in the fights of cats); Tania trully like her baby. At the point that when Tania had issues with her womb and didn't show us (not a sign of her inside pain), Juliette took the thing in her paws: she grabbed Tania by her throat, something she never did before, and never did again once Tania had her surgery. We didn't understand what she wanted to show, but the day after the second time, signs started to come and Tania had a surgery in emergency - infected womb to remove fully.
Tania tried to accept Giroflée at her turn, after Juliette passed the rainbow bridge, but she was more distant. Yet, she was like a landmark for Giro who liked her like a sister. And Giro was lost and angry when we took at home Puce. She needed time to accept her like a sister - but during years she was like the chief. Since we moved at the end of 2020, we had only 2 fights. They act more like sisters now (jealous from each other at some moments :tearlaugh: ).

Oh Yeah! He knows when you're thinking about him. Our cats are the same way. In fact, Cookie Baby just laid down on the back of my easy-chair, next to where my head normally rests. LOL! She's purring!

When Tattoo is in my room, at 05:00 he slowly sneaks on top of me (like a 16 pound  cat can even DO that!) and slowly creeps to my head.   Then he "snuffle purrs" in my ear.   It Is Time To EAT Human!  Heh!  :o)

So how does HE know what time it is huh???

I think they have better internal clocks than we do. Cookie Baby and McCartney are the same way, but with different actions. Cookie gets on my stomach and kneads it, like she's making biscuits; while McCartney gets on my chest and buries his face in my big old beard. I pet him and he purrs loudly. I pet Cookie and she purrs almost inaudibly. LOL
And yes they do that when it's time to feed them.

I have all four of them on the bed at 6:30 every morning nudging, nibbling, meowing as if they've never been fed in their life....and then after all that....they get picky and only eat a little of what is given to them ... but on a good note....sooner or later it's all gobbled up.  I keep dry food out all the time....it's the wet food that they get picky with.  :nopanic;
