This morning, Mogwai woke me up with his purring.  Right in my ear.   I'd shut the door with him in the room, asleep in my desk chair.   5:30 sharp PURRRRPURRRRPURRR!  He knows I don't want any deposits to clean up.   I got up.  Sheesh.

Oz sleeps in Lornas room at night until she kicks him out due to his wanting to play way to early in the morn.

We've been lucky....From day one Oz uses that cat little box and never has made a mess...except for one time when Lorna fed him something that didn't settle with his stomach.  Lorna learned the hard way that cat food and cat treats are made for cats....and human food is not.

Wish I could say the same about Smoky, that little brat delights in digging the deepest hole he can in the litter box which results in litter all over the floor. As in so much that it requires a broom and dust pan to clean up after the little ****

Smoky is always little, but that doesn't want to say he will stop.
Giro is very proper, she is able to dig her hole, kind of And she does inside litter box. But either when she digs, or when she covers, she launches a lot of litter around. She doesn't mesure her strenght.
So now there are several cat/dog rugs around the litter box. They are made for the feeding area but they can be used for the litter box area too. It's less mess, just to take rugs and put what is on in the  :dustbin: then clean the few what was further.

I wish I could say Puce is using so easily the litterbox. One of the two boxes, she likes to use to do the #2 outside these last times. 9 on 10, the rugs suffer now. Don't know what happens with her, but some times ago she made that. It's only 1 of litter boxes. It was cleaned, washed, even changed of place, but no way :lostme:

That would be him

Watanuki on the hand some how manages to hit the side of the box liner (have one of those baking soda style of boxes that help control odor inside of the normal litter box) anyway he hits the side of that and it is like glue when I clean the box .... :puah:

Lorna got this for Oz.  Works like a charm.  Easy to maintain....Unsnaps so it's easy to clean...keeps the smells out and has it own catch it all mat....

Invest in a cheap large and deep storage container, set the litter box down inside that. Any litter that escapes the box goes into the bigger container, with the possible exception of what gets stuck between the kitty's digits.
