Yes it does but the one caveat over EyeCandy, I think (and we know the trouble i get into when I stop and think aside from the pain) FF allows you to grab more filters from their site and upload those you create...I do not think EC does.

I use the programs I don't explain them, kind of like cars... :OMFG:

No, Filter Forge is different from Eye Candy, Nita. It generates textures, seamless or otherwise; as well as illustrational effects like water-color, book illustraitions, and many many others. Eye Candy is fairly limited compared to FF. The best thing about EC is the lightning!

Yes, most lightning brushes are  :dustbin:

You can make all sorts of textures with FF

yup before daughter's comp died and burned up she used to always use it for her textures on second life.

Much better than bladepro and superblade pro, the textures do not come out "chunky" looking. I am still learning mine on the pc but that is a slow process with limited time...LOL

I dunno that old broom flies pretty well!! You just gotta shake the cobwebs out!!

=) Good to hear there is a place for Q&A for filter forge!! Although I do not have it currently, I have been wondering about some of its features to possibly get in the future!

Filter Forge is a Photoshop plugin (https://www.filterforge.com). Pack of filters that will generate textures, create visual effects, enhance photos, process images, etc. And is available for both Mac and Win.

Filter Forge is not only a plugin and not only uses Photoshop as a host. The program can work as a standalone app on both Win and Mac AND it has a bunch of programs to host it (list of them is here (https://www.filterforge.com/download/hosts.html)).

And yes, now it has 11444 filters in the online library (http://www.thefantasiesattic.net/attic/www.filterforge.com/filters) (both effects and textures). And the list of filters grows every day because you can create your own filters in Filter Forge.

I COULD hold out hoping I'd win it, but not sure it would be the latest version.

You can also get your free copy of Filter Forge by creating nice filters. Read here about our filter authors program: https://www.filterforge.com/more/freecopy.html

And if we provide Filter Forge copies as prizes for a contest anywhere, they are the latest version copies.
