RDNA Advanced Shader Plug-in
« on: August 16, 2019, 08:47:53 AM »
Does anyone know if the advanced shader plug-in is still available anywhere?  I searched Daz but didn't find it anywhere.  I've got a ton of second skins that require it and I'd like to be able to use them.  Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi!
Do you want to talk of  Advanced shaders 1.5 by Semidieu? I found our topic on forum, the link brings us toward Daz3d... and the product is no more available.
I found this morning than another freebie from old RDNA is no more available at Daz too :sigh:

I'll try to find if it's somewhere else or not

I found it nowhere else for the moment. With the merge between RDNA and Daz3D, isn't in your product library?
I asked also on Daz's forum, in a old topic concerning that plugin. We'll see if an answer comes.

Thank you, Aelin!  You are the best!  Yes, that is the product I'm looking for and no it's not in my product library :(  There are other things that did not make the move seamlessly :sigh: such is life.  I was hoping that someone might have a copy tucked away somewhere.

I would assume so, but I don't like assuming.  I haven't seen them since RDNA shut down so I don't know what the DIM numbers should be...but the documentation inside should indicate that they are Semidieu's free plug-ins, if those are indeed, the files.

Something in the back of my head is niggling that the information is right, but I cannot remember for sure.  Almost all searches I do take me back to the page on Daz that is no longer available, with the exception of "https://3d-stuff.community/catalog/advanced-shaders-1-5/" (and this is the right product) but I do not know this place and have come to the point that I do not trust "joining" and downloading from sources that I am not sure of.
I may just end up playing with the products that I own that require it and seeing if I can make them work though the use of  layers.
Thank you for your help, Redkres!

I know, several products didn't follow the merge for me too, even when the people who made them are (or were) vendors at Daz at the merging time. For example, the elf dresses by Evilinnocence, I know I took them on RDNA, they are on external. But the site continued to tell I haven't them
I don't think the products we bought at RDNA whom the vendors didn't come at Daz followed in the product library.

I don't know the "3d-stuff" site either, I saw it also yesterday when I passed by Google but didn't go on because I never heard from that site before.

For the moment I have no answer on Daz forum. And my searches on Semidieu bring me nowhere.
