Forgotten Realms
« on: October 22, 2020, 06:21:20 PM »
For people who are new to this, Forgotten Realms are DD Campaign setting and my group started playing it at summer 96 with 2e PHB, DMG and FR Box set. Back then there was no internet and I guess probably we were first group in Montenegro to have those books and play it. Before we had some Dungeons and Dragon magazines and 1e books, but after we played what we could I had to make my own adventures...
We started with Beneath twisted tower, adventure that we got with box set and it went not so good :) as that adventure was mostly underground and though it said that it is for starting level, it was actualy for a bit higher levels to play it till the end. Anyway I hope I will redo that adventure and maybe run it again...
I hope to post here some interesting pictures and maybe forgotten adventures that I have collected over the years and maybe prepare them for playing again  :iminnocent: :drinkonus:

Well, I know I have quite a few of the old first edition AD&D adventures and so forth, plus the Dungeon Magazine and the newer material.

Plus enough supplements and add-on rule books to well, let me look, yep fills up 6 shelves in my book cases.

2nd edition AD&D,  Forgotten Realms and now quite a bit of the 5th edition material.

My group still play 2e, though there are some talking that we might eventualy try 5e. Right now I am preparing to run something next sunday... We played summer before this and finished Under Illefarn adventure (1e btw) and leveled up to level 4 using Player Options rules... Now we will continue the story :) :iminnocent: Also I was thinking about some form of Play by Forum gaming here, but still not sure what to do. I have been running PBF one year FR campaign based on Sword of Dales adventure trilogy... but oh well I guess I am now interested in playing and rendering too :), and maybe playing on Roll20 as I have been running campaign there for year or two... :coffeemaker: Anyway here is a nice picture of Waterdeep I will have to save in my files later and a map of Illefarn area. This is new picture I will try to find my fav older one :). Still need to figure out how to do things good on this forum  :drinkonus:

I actually own the printed copy of "Under Illefarn" I enjoyed the story line quite a bit to be honest.
