Yeah they do.   Mogwai included.   We work it out though,  not many fights over bed space or covers!

Plus, cats claws point to the rear.   Makes going down head first an instant certainty!   If a kitten survives doing that once, they usually don't do it a second time!  ;o)

Twins have my bed during nights, but they like it too during the day.
Eleni sleeps apart but not alone, so he has a bed almost for himself in a way.
Because I don't know for you, but cats love to take more than half of the bed for themselves!

When they grew up, Nenya and Harmonie were no longer able to sleep in cat tree box together. So they decided Harmonie has the house on middays, Nenya during dinners. When Eleni joined, he agreed by himself to leave them doing that, taking the house any other time, if it pleases to him; twins agreed that way too.
But since some times, Nenya is too strong and long to be in the cat tree house. The poor guy misses it very much. He tries each dinner, but ends almost fully blocked into. So we have to close the tree house a way or another - none of Harmonie or Eleni wants to take it at that time, they wish to respect their agreement.
Nenya was desperate, he showed he really wanted and needed to have a time in a partially closed area, something not small but not too large. We looked with the animal shop in town (the groomer) and I had the idea for a not hard box. We asked she orders online from her catalog a soft house. Maybe 3 days after, she received it!
First thing done when the soft house was at home was to present it to Nenya and said to him and the 2 others "it's Nenya's home". You should have seen him with it. He still loves his home like the first day, a home where he can lay a little more than what walls done at first look (of course they are curved in those cases ). But he accepts to share with the others. Or I should say with Harmonie. She is currently sleeping in, Nenya near the house. But if he feels the need to go in, he will behave for she understands; if she doesn't want to comply, he will ask us by his behaviour, looking intensely the house and meowing and cooing.
Eleni and the house? He tried it quickly, but he understands and accepts it's not his, so generally he enters 1 or 2 minutes daily just to be in, then he leaves the place to one of the Twins. Or he tries to go with Harmonie inside when she is, to be near her like a baby with his Mom. She doesn't like to be inside with him, so leaves quickly generally. And he exits too.
But the soft house has in a way another benefit. Since it's at home, the Twins are less glued to each other. Less sleeping paws in paws - even if I love to see them doing that. They need less to be together in each room, almost full time - yeah, they have finally their own life. And Eleni found well his place near the one out of the home. When he was tiny, he didn't care their opinion and came to sleep near them, under the watch of an human (often necessary for his safety because he ended crazy of joy and was agitated). Then he grew up and he stopped to go with them by himself, looking them sometimes like if he couldn't come with because he would be 'too much' in their duo. Now, he loves again to sleep with them and he is less agitated in return during a such time.
