A Dreamer's Wish
« on: September 11, 2012, 11:13:24 PM »
I actually... WROTE again... I hardly write... i kinda broke somewhere in Korea and dont write anymore but I wrote something last night!!!

kind of a modified iambic...something? not a pentameter... i broke all the rules. Not perfectly iambic either, i started strong on each 3rd line and 4th line isn't iambic.... whatever >_<

A Dreamer's Wish

when i have passed this life away,
and worn it down to just one day,
known or not, be as it may
they'll say I went out dreaming.

for i've meandered near and far
by bus by plane and boat and car
 always following the stars
they say i go out dreaming

and i have found a man to keep
and rocked a babe of mine to sleep
and treasured all the memories deep
 they say i'm always dreaming

there's stories told and secrets kept,
the mysteries 'neath the carpet swept
 i've laughed, i've prayed, I've wished, I've wept!
--but say I went out dreaming.

Very well written.  You should write more....It's put together very well and you can read the feelings in it.  Well done....

Thanks for the kind words.. I would love to have my muse back....

several years ago it broke in Korea, I couldn't write.

To explain, when I was young, far as I recall, I would write, and it was like breathing... more like the muse was writing than me. But it just happened, I couldn't MAKE it happen.  so when my muse 'left' i couldn't write anymore... for so long.

Maybe my muse is back??

But that is why I got into art.... because my writing was gone...
