Well actually tried to get my first shot today...glad I asked.. Tetnus shot means I have to wait 14 days before can have the first shot.

Yeah; noticed the same thing on waivers here today. No vaccines within 14 days and no injection within 7. Don't think that counts for diabetics, but couldn't say for sure. Everybody is worried about being sued over the whole vaccine thing in general. "Not my fault man; you signed the waiver."


 Doesn't matter much to me. I just want to go see a band at a bar again after a year and a half. I'm getting the calls again for garage to sound studio conversions and outdoor stage setups. The hippies are sprouting like the mushrooms in the cow patties again. At least this year I won't be sneaking round avoiding COVID Cops by leaving home. They finally lifted that damnable Stay At Home Order for me a few days back. Now just open the damn bars and bring on the dancing girls. I'll go buy non-essentials when they become essential. I don't need a new pair of socks or a floor mat saying "Welcome" now that things are returning to some semblance of sanity.

Looks like it will be another mild day high will be 94 f.  By next week be in around 114 degrees outside when they install my air conditioner hopefully it will be in the morning before the afternoon heat.

I don't know how much we had, but this morning it was enough for a simple top and a little vest. This afternoon, the vest could stay on the arm (in case the weather changes).

Greetings one and all.  Today is a good day.  Yesterday, I got Connie's bow out of layaway so we can work on getting her strong enough to pull it - a sweet little compound - and I paid on my PS VR setup.  Will be glad to get that so I can experiment with it.  Other than that, life is good.  Weather weenies FINALLY decided to have a little mercy on us.  No rain in forecase for the next 3-4 days.      Had to get another receiver for the Baja.  Could only get one channel out of four and the fader doesn't work.  At All.  Had one that had a DVD/CD player in it.  Worked fine . . .  when I first bought it ... almost ten years ago when I lived in Ruidoso.  Now, not so much.  First system of my own that I put in the Baja .  . . .  after I first got it.  Got something a little like it as replacement, just no DVD.  or CD.  Oh well.  Got USB, micro-SD, and BlueTooth for smart phone so alls good.

 PDG they asked me if I was insulin dependant.  I am, said I'd already had one injection today, three to go.  They gave me the vaccine.  I chose the J&J because I would not come back for another 14 days later, just to come in next day for a wound care visit.   The single dose vaccine is kinda new here.

Looks like everyone here will be getting Phizer in the long run. Our version of the CDC is checking on the mix and match of different vaccines with an eye to supplying mRNA as the second shot to everyone. Not this cat. I kept to the mantra the you go home from the bar with the same person you took there.
