So true that, Fafnir! I got lucky, bro in law came over, he helped me get groceries in. He brought em in and I put em away! :D It's only 77F here, but it's dry, BRIGHT and so CLEAR now. Its welcome after all the rainy days!

Stayed hot enough and dry enough to get all my work done and get a tetnus shot for putting a nail through my foot..whee.. Then the T-storms rolled in..

We have Fathers Day coming up. Sometimes I think we need to have a Brother-In-Law day too. :)

That would be nice to have. But, I'll settle for daddy's day.

Had some hellacious rain here last night. Came back from dropping ALiene off at work and the sky opened up on us while at Subway. Literally. It was coming down so hard that water had all but flooded the parking lot. Like Biblical type flood. Got into my Baja, brought it in passenger door to sidewalk so Connie could get in, then backed in so son could put walkers in rear before making a run for it. Coming down so hard that my wipers were doing little to no good ... at high setting! Got to the house and had to wait for a few so we could see our way to the front door. Finally got out and made a run . . . actually a fast walk . . . . for it. Finally got inside, looking like a trio of drowned rats. Clothes had to go into the dryer while the shoes were set aside to dry as well.

All good Fafnir... didnt go that deep. Annoyance was not remembering last time I had a tetnus shot and the lecture on proper footcare. Didnt keep me from finishing my last job first either lol.
