Fields are entirely too easy when you are as careless with polys as I am. Needed a hoophouse a few weeks back. Try and find that as a freebie. Made it in about 10 minutes. Took me an hour and a half though to get a decent procedural IR destroyed clear polytarp shader without making a damage (scratch/crease) mask.

Nosh, I have had many a tank round go off beside me head. They were all sent on to their ultimate destinations, thank you. The only ones that were addressed to "Whom it may concern" went to other vehicles. Mine was one of the lucky ones. A couple of the others . . . . not so much. And believe it or not, it is quite quiet INSIDE the tank when a round goes off. Was it my fault that I got kicked out of that UFO years ago? And landing on me noggin din help a bit.

Seriously.
I use procedural where possible. P12 has no micropoly displacement in Cycles/Superfly yet so I don't paint many maps. If I have to; I use Paint.net. Built into Win10. That does diffuse and I generate any others I need from them. I had a subscription to Substance but let it lapse as I wasn't getting enough use out of it to justify the subscription cost when it came due.

Ah ok :) I just got a perpetual licence for Substance Painter and its the best money I have ever spent on software, been having an absolute blast with it and the things I can come up with

Amused to see someone else uses paint.net as well. Sometimes you just dont need all the bells and whistles lol.
