It works well, means I can be using the pan for something else while its cooking plus lets all the grease drain off

Mornin coffee and cocoa are ready  the girls  made biscuits and bacon for this morning  and for later on there will be prime rib  with all the trimmings and horseradish sauce

Yes Dreamer, that's the way we cooked the bacon, in the oven, been doing it for years, got tired of getting burn from  it on stove top

Evening guys!
I'm back from the joy to discover when turning on the box that the internet (and teh phone depending of the same line) was cutted. With "perturbations" to go until tomorrow, end of morning. In fact, the perturbations were no internet or phone at all. It's a shop of cellphones and things like that in town which explained to us.
So I don't know if the reparations they have to do are made during the night or not. If I suddenly disappear, you know why.

Good afternoon to all.....

I finally made it in here.  I was outside most of the day shoveling the snow piles on to the spots that had no snow so I can get it to melt faster....and then one thing led to another.  It was 52 degrees out.....LOVED IT....

Of course the yard looks like a swamp now....and there is STILL plenty of snow on the ground....but I'm making headway....

Best way to cook bacon for me is by buying the type you stick in the microwave for a few minutes.  Tastes great and you can cook it to the texture you enjoy.  I like mine crispy and by gosh....the bacon strips turn out perfect every time.

And I agree with all on the way to apply first aid to the arm Rad.....Hope it heals soon for you.

Your day sounded as interesting as mine was yesterday Aelin....

Still battling the Change of Banks....what a PITA and then some.

I look like I have some kind of Fancy Tattoo now on my arm The ointment helps. Anyway thanks for all the concern Yes I normally cook Bacon in the oven when I was feeding large Groups as a Line cook.
Bacon Press  Never used one.
Found a Strange Crepe tortilla Thing at the market today!  Carb free for those of use you have to watch what we eat. Called Crepini Gluten-Free Egg Wraps Anyway look interesting will have to find out if they are any good when I get around to Buying them or just thinking about making Burritos. o.O
