Tis mild in this part of the Attic, currently in the 60's with a high predicted in the low 80's

Looks like rain but at 15% over the course of the day, hard to say if or when, then we do have the morning drivers delight "fog"

No real problem and since my work is all inside doing PM's on subscriber radios I call this an easy work day.

No one to pester me, ask silly questions or just be a thorn

Good morning guys!
It's melted snow we have coming from skies under the rain shape. But nothing comparable to what you have :hypno:

Trying  to be well, Radkres!    Warm would maybe be a help,  yaknow!  I am sitting at my computer, in my room with a TShirt and long sleeve flannel shirt on and SOCKS too.   Feet feel great, shoulders and back feel chilly!   Yeah, I am actually missing "Warm" now!  LOL!
- did you read about that 100 car pileup in Dallas on I-35?  My nurse was telling me about that this afternoon.
Heard from a friend of Oklahoma. She knows well that portion where the accident was, because she has to take it the few times she goes in Dallas. And no matter the weather, she never likes it.

Almost forgot..was thinking of all of you in the frozen wasteland when I saw this on facebook....

Free outside decorations for windows. At least the snow protects a little the ground from the ice.

Hi folks, well it did snow, everything is white out now.  And it is 10°F too.  Got to finish bundling up to get going.   The little Doctors are getting real demanding on me.   That bugs me a bit.  Losing feet/legs bugs me more though.  Sigh.   Two hours early, I might get the 60 miles in time!  Ha!Y'all say a little prayer for me and old Jeep ok?

What a strange snow.   The NOAA Local Weather page said it was 11F when I turned BMR off.   Jeep said it was 8F, then I started down the highway that dropped to 6F and stayed there a while.   Oh well.  The snow did great, looked beautiful, till any puff of breeze came and whisked it away.   And that's what the highway was like, all the way into Amarillo.  Little  white swirly dervishes everywhere!   Was not a wet snow in any way.   Just never saw so many tiny little whirling dervishes is all.   Everything was cool with the doctor.  Then while walking in my door, my damp shoe slipped and down I went.  WHAM.   Not as bad as the snow angel incident, but it still smarts.
SO,  time to start getting ready for the Nurse.  Later y'all!   -   (oh, it's 13F now a veritable heatwave!)

Ouch!!!!  Be careful McG . . . . now that's a helluva thing to tell someone AFTER the fact . . . .  Falling down is never fun.  Unless you can laugh about it.  Supposed to get more nasty weather in courtesy of yet another storm system on the way.  Least the weekend looks to be clear.  Snow on Monday though.  YUCK!!!!
Hipshot

Right, 'ere we go.  Roll cross country and go through the ditch . . . fire main gun to look . . . Oooops.  Is it supposed to do that?

Yeah I call myself being careful and haul off and do THAT!  LOL!   My elder cat decided it was time to go play in the yard.  I finally pulled myself up, went and got one of their moist food treats out, went to the door to tempt him back in.  Well that kept him in the yard at least.  So I got close enough to scruff him up quick, and he put up with that knowing he was about to get some goodie.  We got in, I fixed their goodie, set it down for them and hear the little "smack-smack-smack-smack-smack-smack-smack-smack" ing, and knew that hit the spot.  So now both knees are sore and my hand too.   Well, I know some more stuff to look out for. These post-op shoes are not meant for hiking gear for sure.
It's cold everywhere up here, HipShot.   Fortunately it's dry, even with the snow.  Not much ice except for what coated all the trees and stuff from last week.   The road was clear, no problems at all.  I set the Jeep to 70 mph and it gave me 18 mpg.   Yes that's a happy smile!  Even with other folks whizzing right on by me.  Let em whizz, I'm happy :oD :woohoo:
