I have just read than Poser 12 will use Python 3. That is to say than, except if people who did scripts before work again on, many scripts will no longer run.
Obviously, several script makers like PhilC or NetherWorks won't work their previous versions to make them work with the Python 3.

Reason number 523 why I'm liking Daz better....

DS4 is too much greedy for processor.
I don't use many scripts, so it's not a problem for me (and I'm using Poser 10). But will be for those who have the habit and the need to use them.

Snarlygribbly and a few others have promised to update their scripts but it is dependent on the time constraints. Time for me to dust off my programming skills and come out of retirement. :coffeemaker: :java:

Poser, DS, Blender; doesn't matter. If Python is involved in your workflow anywhere it will be at least Python 3.0 soon if it isn't now. 2.x is long gone and depreciated. This should have been done years ago.

I totally agree.
