This is a site that has some older fonts and until today I did not realize that they are listed elsewhere as donation fonts (you use and can give a donation to creator) but also according to his site, they are totally free and can be used for personal use or commercial use.

Pariah Burke has gathered here many FREE fonts from several places. If like me you have a room totally devoted to fonts---smilies----clipart and such

Here are two of the pages he has gathered each having 3 total pages to look over. If you have never used myfonts.com before you will need to register in order to download the font....it will show you the price as $0-xx -- those are the free ones.
