Make your own poison ivy remedy

With the onset of warmer weather and folks going out into their own yards or hiking, things happen so...

This the video to do this marvelous little helper with and uses a couple of "weeds" and aloe. You can read more about the process here too: http://www.mommypotamus.com/diy-poison-ivy-remedy-2/

Right now my big problem is MOSQUITOES   ....  They are as big as dive bombers.   Keep in mind I'm not much of an outdoor person so now that I have to walk a dog at 4AM in the morning, 7AM in the morning and to many times to count at night....I'm a walking Mosquito target.

But after a check on the net for some fact or fiction home repel methods....the winner ended up being Skin So Soft Bug Repellant.   PS...Dryer sheets in your pocket do not work, Vicks Vaperub does not work,  Lemon juice on your skin does not work.....

They do say that a DEET based repellant is the best thing to use but you have to use it carefully and not on kids.

As for those pesky gnats....A little Vanilla Extract on your skin repels them...and yes...it does
work...surprisingly.

yes and trust me that some can't use that cause it is a dinner bell for them but

skin so soft by avon bath oil is great for mosquitoes, flies, ticks

just use with water diluted like 2parts water 1 part oil in a spray bottle to spray around door entries and windows or screens will make them little buggers not want to follow you in

pour it on the dog where the ticks are direct from bottle will make them ticks drop off---they can't breathe. in their bath water put some in with the soap and wash them up--even cats--rinse them off and their fur is shiny and the fleas, mosquitoes and ticks won't bug them either, plus NOT harmful to them either.

I used to have outside dogs when I sold the stuff and mine never had fleas or ticks nor flies even with all the rabbits in our yard. I used to bathe them in skin so soft and bubble bath from avon too, they would lather up and rinse real easy.

now can't afford it so fleas are abundant just from going out onleash.

great for horses too

yes I am a firm believer in the stuff--commercial over
