Something to read in detail when not distracted

I wonder if these instructions are shall we say similar in other programs?

You do use the same technique to draw something like this in Hexagon (DAZ), which is also free. At least it was when I downloaded it. Not sure if it still is.

Well, now just clicked on the links and am so surprised ... didn't know this version was free ... :woohoo:

Steve has never charged for his software...he's one of the few left like us that remember when programs were free. Before everyone got greedy!

Thanks, but you're too kind...I just noticed a few typo's and I hate it. But I don't want to have to redo the image/s.

What program do you UV Map in if I may ask?

Lol...I don't. I use Hexagon to make things and I've got that down fairly well, but when you UV map something in there, it squishes it up all weird. I don't think I'm doing it wrong, because I've seen it do that on video tutorials and then the person stretched it out and repositioned the pieces. What I have managed to texture, I just do it in the Mat Room in Poser.

I have Hexigutter, gave it a test run once and wasn't impressed. I don't care for the original programers and when Daz purchased it they only added the abilities to import and export their own models...they left the code pretty much the same...which was incomplete.

But I can install it again and have a looksee to figure out what's wrong.

I seriously wonder if Hex has memory leak issues. I've learned to save often in there, because it has a natty habit of crashing on me. It doesn't crash my pc but the program does.

When setting up Anim8or it's best to put it in it's own folder like any programs folder would be set up. That way you can install scripts and stuff and have them launch with Anim8or.

"J" knows what I'm talking about. It's easy to do.

I Have Found to avoid placing any older style programs in the programs directory as the newer Operating systems don't like the old tricks those programmers used.
make a directory outside the programs section and install it there normally fixes most of the Hex crashes That I was dealing with.
