I been drinkin my coffee black since i cant get  cream  from the bulk tank anymore  [ turn off agitator in bulk tank cream rises to the top of the milk]

I miss the days when you brought a TV...hooked up the antenna and cable box....and you were done....

Just took me 1-1/2 hours to get Lornas new VIZIO TV updated, programmed, attachments hooked up (Atari, Speaker, and CD Player....) and sound to work....gave up on the speaker and unhooked it...she doesn't need it anyway....Once I got rid of it and restarted the TV all worked fine.  Then hooked up the antenna and waited for that to update the channels...another 10 minutes.... 

Though I'm bitching...it's all worth it....she brought the TV with HER money and not mine

I don't think there are any over the air stations anymore up here. I remember grabbing the signals from Buffalo over the Lake years ago. Didn't have to pay cable to get the American Big 3 at the time. ABC, CBS, NBC. Them plus a couple of other fuzzy signals and I was good to go.

Mind you once cell phones came in to being people here were having their calls go through Buffalo repeaters if they were at the beach or on the Lakeshore. Made for some rather expensive calls.

Here in Georgia we have over the air TV Stations but they have either weak signals, or the radio interference is really bad. We have not watched free over the air TV for more than a decade.

pdg the choices we make are sometimes worse than the original I reckon...I haven't had a ciggy for over 12 years now...but the stupid gum I am addicted to!! still trying to figure out which is worse for me...the actual smokes or the gum...

Must admit to having overly expensive cable. I know there is lots of free over the net stuff and ad supported streamers; but I'm old and lazy. My TV is barely HD and dumb as a post. I've my sports when I want them. Any sport; any where despite my limited interests. I've a crap load of movie channels I seldom watch and a ton of specialty channels. My late wife was disabled and watched a lot of tv. I just never bothered sorting out the wheat from the chaff. If I did; I would probably cancel 95% of it. Landline, tv, internet, it's all the same package. Change one part and the company just jacks the cost of another. It goes up about 10% a year including the taxes and I watch at least 10% less every year. Go figure.

Depending on the weather...some days we can get all of the Madison Stations and Freeport Stations....  But as Agent mentioned...on windy or crappy weather days....you're lucky if you get 10 channels...  I just watch the local news...No programs....As long as the news is from Madison...all is good.

Thanks TL. I did a couple but this is the most acceptable across the board. I was getting creative with camera angles and forced perspectives. What suits me doesn't always suit the masses.
