Well, had another 12 hour day and that was only because the lady in charge asked how long to finish and my guess fell within the parameters of the HMFIC departure time. So was asked to stay till all was done as they were wanting for it to be completed if possible today.

Well, excuse me for being only one person, then again they do have 85 radios to work on. However ye ole boss knows that it takes this long to do a PM and to have only one each of people and equipment means it will take forever and with so much more coming up in the next couple of weeks that will be starting this is not a tenable situation.

Just saying ...

Here be the fun and games part, the EMS department got the last two ambulances in, so in addition to working on the engineering department I finished up the last of the ambulances. The real fun was that the fleet manager for the EMS department made the comment that he had spares in the basement. OK, so why don't we run those through the PM procedure so in the case of ... you have a spare you can swap out in an instant instead of having to make a special trip to get it looked at ... damn he said that is a great idea ... ... little things ... tis all I can say.

The interesting thing was there was another ambulance that was still having problems with transmitting ... my only thought was that the mic was possibly bad, the fleet manager had a spare mic from all the spares he found for me to work on and surprise he swapped it out and so far at last report it had cured the problem.

Imagine that ....

That is good.  It looks like that would take more than a few hours to sort out that mess.

Hopefully this wasn't next day air or 3 day air.  I think at the lowest rate they put it  on anything that move when there is space available.  Usually it take two week to get to your house on book rate postage, now we know why.

I have gotten packages (books) much quicker then this as it came straight here instead of taking the scenic route like this package is doing.

The previous one would have been here in three days except I had it delivered to the office and they tried to deliver on Saturday which meant that I got the following Monday.

Hell even my anime and manga which comes from Iowa can get here in less then a week.

Dang some one took pics of me at the wedding of my co-worker ... ... tis amazing I do not break any mirrors ... man one never really knows what one looks like based just on what you see in a mirror.

And before you ask to see them, I have to run them down a bit as they are over 6 MB a piece
