Now you can color me I just got a call from my doctor, yes today on a Sunday, asking about how the breath analyzer was acting on me, gave her the 411 on all that I have been experiencing since using it. Then she said that she had seen the x-rays of the chest and all looks good there, then asked asked about the pulmonary appointment I was to schedule, and I told her all of the trouble I was having with trying to schedule it.

She was not well pleased with the run around I was getting there and more or less said to let her know if I got no satisfaction by Wednesday.

Oh goody One can claim they are busy all they want but according to my doctor the first statement they made about the work order not being in the system was false. So we shall see what tomorrow brings in respect to getting the next appointment set up.

Apparently, if you work reception and schedule appointments ... plus since I did not press the button to put me on call back instead of staying on hold ... who knows how much longer I would have been on ignore ... I mean hold.

Still think I would have been dropped regardless ... but who knows

My doc tink he a geek . . . he compared the bacteria that have eaten my foot bones away to Pac Mans!  just munchin away till there is a big gap between the ends of the two bones that used to be connected.   Yep, he be GEEK!  (grumble rumble saga wuga ARRRRGH!) (da little bastige!)

Tried calling ye ole hospital again to get the appointment set and got the same run around, at this point I am over it. At this point said call the doctor here is the number let us get this sorted.

At last satisfaction. Gods above no wonder the medical system is such a wreck not one arm of the system talks to the other and none of the reference numbers on my paper are used in their system and the list of other complaints I have about it is now longer then my arm, so we will stop for the moment.

Anyway finally get through the all of the red tape and got one scheduled, oh by the way I have to bring the chest x-ray recently taken with me. I just had it last week at one of your facilities. Oh we have no access to those records ...

Really how frelling difficult do you lot have to make this ....?

Oh cute I just remembered something that the first person said but was not mentioned today. The first person was crying about a COVID test prior to the appointment, when I scheduled the appointment today nothing was said ... WTF ... roll over.

I should let them figure it out on their own since they want to make life miserable considering that I asked multiple times as to what I need to do, bring and where, not my problem any longer.

Tis so irritating, so far the only silver lining is that the boss now understands that I do have a problem with breathing with a mask for extended time. Arrangements have been made for another to cover for me doing the install for the boat. Would have bit the bullet if and when I got a proper diagnosis on my breathing but it looks like it is being accepted that I do have a legitimate problem.

So I definitely will provide as much back up as I can, since regrettably I am currently the only one who knows the Five W's of the project.

It sucks that I am that conversant on all of the details for all of the multiple jobs pending and upcoming.

Well, having all sorts of fun setting up another rack for a third staging project for the folks.

Look it up as I do not know all the details all I know is I have currently a total of 14 firewalls to rack and stack and later on someone is programming them.

Guess who got tasked with inventory, rack and stack of the firewalls, grounding, and building of data cables to enable said programming.

Yep, speaking ....

 

The follow up news is that this is just the beginning and there will be a significant number more in the future ....

And guess what had to be updated to bring this up to speed for "compliance" yep .. grounding is the word you are avoiding ... However, it is now complete and boy howdy it do look good.

Yes, I know not many people would get excited or have a warm and fuzzy feeling about how an install is grounded.

Well, except me, .... yes ... I have no life ...

The real fun while I was working on this task was we had a dog and pony show at the shop, in other words my bosses boss came by today ... so much fun.

Sort of, kind of, on the consumer side, what I am setting up on the back side of the network seems to be more "in depth" for lack of a better word.

Well, not sure about the full sequence of events that caused me to investigate the RAID on Stormbringer but investigate that I did and oh great we have issues.

Such as one of the drives is not recognized and needs "repair"

How lovely ...

The good news is that I use a RAID 10, so it is striped along with being mirrored which "implies" it should repair itself with not to much fuss, case in point it is at 38% already and I am now on a second episode of "The Abominable Snowmen" with Patrick Troughton.

Oops starting a third episode currently at 40% now, so it seems to be going "smoothly" so far ... the truth will be seen in the morning though as it is bedtime for this old timer.
