Sorry for your loss as well Thalek. It makes no matter how often any of you visit our asylum, it just matters for you all to come in and let us know how you've been. We miss all our MIA's and love each of you all equally also.

I think it is wonderful for others to know if they need a shoulder or an ear to be able to contact whomever. My shoulders and ears are always here for the job needed too. Rant, cry, shout for happiness me and the forum are here for all.

Thank you. I hoped talking to someone who has been through it a few times might be of some comfort. For similar reasons, I thank you for your kind offer. Finding a therapist who still has room for new patients has been challenging here in the boonies.

Yes Thalek having someone to just talk to is wonderful. I lost my dad when I was 16, about 13 years ago [and just recently figured out it was THAT long ago] my mom passed. I have had many family members leave us and many pets too.

I keep it in mostly but know that everyone handles things differently. When one is ready to talk about their loss then that is what we do...listen and not push. Thus far I am so proud of our members here since they are here for everyone, this is our virtual family. Always

I'm not really ready to talk about it right now.  Every time I think about it, I start crying.  But I will take you up on the offer soon Thalek.  And my condolences on your loss.

My sister and her family are on their way to pack me and Sarge (our chow) up and take us to Florida with them.
We'll be leaving here on Sunday and should be there by Tuesday.

Take all the time that you need, and then take a little more time. It's a slow process, so there's no need to hurry.
I'm glad that you'll be spending some time with family; friends and family are your safety net.
