I use to use Ice Packs to lesson the pain and swelling. Worked well.

An excellent reads those stories are by the way ... then again you already knew that ... can't wait for the manga version of "At the Mountains of Madness" volume 2 due out on Halloween.

Guillermo del Toro was all ready to make a movie of it but I guess the budget was far too high for him to do that. I don't know why exactly they canned it but I would have loved to have seen what he did with it after his "Pan's Labyrinth" and "Hell Boy" movies.
