Definitely something that Luffie and Kianna should sit down and read together.

I read the first two and granted not much new for me just a different way of doing things. She makes folders within the base Poser runtime to find things easily and then move everything there. The problem with that is when you only have one runtime and you load it up with all of the product that we have a tendency to buy. It now makes Poser load slowly, due to the size of the file. If I did something like that I would have a runtime that weighs 93 GB and with that large of a runtime it would take Poser forever to load. Loading external runtimes broke down by character or whatever term one uses enables Poser to load so much quicker.

Will read the others later to see what might be in them

yup I thought so too and they must have been written prior to external runtimes.

we need a tut for external runtimes and why they are needed.

The explanation for why is in the previous post as to how to create an external runtime and how to set them up I will write something up over the next day or so and post it in here.

that would be perfect to have. can't wait to see your procedure and post for external runtimes...then we'll have one for the beginners with 1 runtime and the second thread for the external ways.

I would also love to see how others have their poser settings set up for their art rendering...someday.

Correct due to the nature if the 4th generation figures you have to load them into the default runtime but after that is is our choice as to how we organize the rest.

I tell you what......If you guys can get this set up so it's in English and even I can understand it......I'll spend a weekend "playing" to see how far I get.....

My biggest problem is the "Organizing" what I have and how to organize it.
