Things you didn't know about me

So most of you really know nothing about me. I am actually a very well rounded fellow (both physically and educationally.) One of the things you didn't know is that I also write poetry. I composed this poem with Rex Harrison's character from "My Fair Lady" In mind. (If you haven't seen it then I would suggest watching it. If you have seen it Rex Harrison played Professor Henry Higgins.

 The Bachelor by Zeus Fx
As I wander
I stop to ponder
Upon the nature of reflection.
In thoughts that matter
I’ve no words to flatter
The consequence of rejection.

There is a certain meter
As I stop to greet her
In the pattern of my words.
In flights of fancy
Things are chancy
Like fluttering of birds.

My thoughts in ponderance
Myself in conference
I’ve no time for interaction.
And yet she is deeming
So to me it's seeming
To be my new distraction

Why then to wonder
If I should blunder
In delicacies of discourse,
Her reaction
And satisfaction
Inexcusable at it’s source.

In this I marvel
As my courage marshals
My thoughts are now asunder.
That should I find
My words designed
Onward should I blunder.

My time askew
Contemplation through
I say hello, goodbye.
Her face concerned,
Or so I’ve learned,
Contrivance is not shy.

Heed now my speech
I do beseech
Of gentlemen in passing.
Of thoughts so vast
So they should last
Consider them surpassing.

And as they come, as women do
Distractions all, so very true
To press upon your time.
Think upon importance
And in accordance
Leave them all behind.

Many thanks my friends. I appreciate your kind words. So the next thing most people don't know about me is that I am a big nerd. I have been running my own Dungeons and Dragons for 39 years now. If anyone is interested on my website there is a rpg section with a crap load of game resources. Included there is a printable version of the deck of many things and even some custom fonts.

One of the business partners at the company I work for suggested that I copyright my fonts that I developed to prevent WoTC from grabbing them for a commercial product. Honestly I highly doubt that they will even look in my direction as I don't develop content for 5.0 but if they seriously want to grab anything off of my shitty little site more power to them. I personally think that it is corporate greed that messes up just about everything that people truly enjoy in life. Look at YouTube itself. it started as a simple means to share videos with one another and now it is full of advertisments and crap you have to put up with or lay down cash to buy their premium channel. It is just the crappy way the world works. I look at it this way. My time on this earth isn't going to be very much longer anyway so I am not going to worry about what corporate A-Holes do. I am just going to build my crappy little stuff to share with anyone who wants it and enjoy what time I have left.
