My youngest, Mogwai, has been behaving very antsy lately.   Might be his teeth bothering him, might be something else.  Will get him to the vet, see what he says.     Until lately he would be sound asleep most of the night.   I still find the occasional croaked mouse gift!   But its his overactive behavior that worries me.

Oz is Oz.....he's doing great.  One of the funniest and strangest things he does is do a speed run all through out the place right after he takes a poop.  Never saw a cat so excited about going to the bathroom....and he goes regularly so don't get what the big thrill is....but for him.....it's cat happy dance time :tearlaugh: :tearlaugh:

Puce does the same TL. Always for her poo, and sometimes for her pee. Running everywhere in the house, even in obstacles (head first of course  ). But in her case, I don't know if it's the joy which pushes her, or if she is running far away of the odor :thud:  :tearlaugh:

I'm thinking the odor....I told Lorna the same thing....  Good thing the litter box is in her hallway :tearlaugh:

But yes, head first, with no regards to what is what.  He's taken some chunks of hair out of his head at times but no cuts or anything.  It's so crazy to watch LOLOLOL

Hmm!   Maybe they are just burning off excess energy, right after eliminating excess weight?  Heh!
Mogwai HAS been flying from back door to front door and back, then a sharp left to the hall and bathroom and back to the kitchen.   Its funny when he runs over the back of the sofa and Tattoo is peacefully snoozing away then Moggie zooms by, smacks his bottom lightly and zooms back to the kitchen.  Tattoo wakes with a start and a hiss, looks around confused, then settles back to sleep again.
Maybe Mogwai is actually feeling BETTER after a bout with a bad molar?  He IS burning off energy every day though.   If they are doing that, they are probably doing pretty good :)

LOL...that's funny.  Oz does the behind the couch thing also then slides down the hallway....smacks into the computer room door, speeds back down the hallway and slides to a stop in the kitchen...and starts all over again LOLOL

Back door to front door, with a spring off the coffee table onto back of couch pop right into front (100 yr old solid wood) door at 4 to 5 feet bounce back to couch-coffee table- hard run thru house to back door.   They get a lot of speed with a straight shot like that.   The living room to hall to bathroom is hardwood and their slip n slide.   *I* can't keep up with em!  LOL!

Mogwai definitely defers to Tattoo's Seniority.   Gives over food to him even.  But at play time like that, I note with a wry grin Mogwai's batting Tattoo on his butt while flying by!  Heh!

TL have you had a cat just take off all wide eyed, overfull of energy and run around the room ON the WALLS?    I have not showed mine that trick!   Have seen it done many times, but not by these two...yet.

On the walls, that's what I call skateboard!
Before we moved 17 years ago, Juliette played to run after her sister Tania. We had a corridor. Juliette ran on walls, ended before her sister. They turned back, Juliette behind Tania, running on wall, ending before. They loved that!
