So far nothing but rain rain and rain and WINDS....Knock on wood....but this will be going on until 11PM or so....so I'm not counting my blessing yet...and as I'm typing this...we get a Tornado watch...

Well it's rolling in here. Thanks. Luckily no tornado warnings and the tennis ball size hail warning has dropped for it as well. Just cold and wet.

Good Morning to all,

Survived the night Aelin and PDG....Only three tornado warnings but none appeared in our area...But got plenty of rain, thunder and lightning.  BooBear, Puss Puss and Henrietta didn't flinch.....  Calie and Bootsy stayed under my bed for the duration.  They were still there when I got up this morning LOL.

Yup PDG....Just a typical thunderstorm.  We got the heavy rain, high winds, thunder and lightning....but NO hail or Tornadoes in our area...woohooo.  Was going to ask Travis how he made out since they had 4 Tornado watches posted along with hail warnings.  He didn't get a chance to chat this morning...he said it was a rough night...and that could be taken a number of ways LOL.

Anyway....On with the show...with in hand...

LOL....Glad they left you some blood Fafnir...

PS....I had this all typed up and ready to post but got to involved with getting my laundry done and filling the bird seed feeders before it pours again....and it is now pouring...

Mornin to you all coffee cocoa and tea are ready  the girls made biscuits and bacon for this morning and for later on there will be  BLTs  with all the trimmings and tater wedges

We are have BLTs also here in Macon GA. I want to give you my recipe for an even better BLT. Add an egg, fried or scrambled and made into a small omelet. Boiled works too, but not as well. With Mayonnaise, Mustard, or some other favorite condiment, a bit of salt and pepper on the tomato, and you have a sandwich that hits the spot well. I call it a BELT, and I have several restaurants in my area that has added it to their menus, with my permission. Not looking to make money on this recipe; rather I want as many folks to know about it, so they can try it and know how good it is. It's best if you do a fried egg over medium well. That leaves some of the yolk a little runny. I use whole wheat bread, but it is good on white bread too. Other breads it would be good on is sourdough, French, and Italian breads. You can also do it on biscuits.
