Well, this tele-schooling thing is a complete bust in my mind so far only two students have bothered to turn anything in, we have a total of 17.

The sad part that due to the Covid-19 all students get a free pass to pass this class.

Which is a rip off in my mind some of them barely put forth any effort to begin with and now with this, although "supposedly" they do not know they are going to pass regardless, this is a pitiful turn out and shows a distressing lack of initiative and accountability.

Granted they will pass but that doesn't mean they will get a high mark. Rest assured that will not happen on my watch

Well, no fun today spent all day writing up a quote for the site walk I did yesterday. Basically a site that will be dorms for university students, nonetheless it did keep me busy all day. Took a break to work on a second quote and tried to see if we could get a replacement working for the desk top remote that I brought in for repairs a week and a half ago - why do I stress that - because it still has not been shipped out for repairs.

I am quite pissed by the way. It should not take that long to get customer repair out to the depot. They have maintenance contracts and as such and should be processed the same day they are received.

And no the silly girl who is to send these things off is not that damn busy, why do I say that, because I see her on her damn phone doing anything but company work. Have seen her surfing the web on sites again totally unrelated to her work.

Yes, there is something lacking in my ability to grasp the lack of accountability with those younger then I.

Not quite sure whether or not that I can manage that trick though, :iminnocent:

Still working here although the silliness has risen its almighty head.

Yep, keep the back gate shut and only have one garage door open and oh by the way all pick ups and delivery's are to be in the bay.

This is now two weeks after the fact and the magic leprechaun who has been working from home since then comes up with this brilliant plan.

Seriously :thud:

I am glad that this morning going in to work that I drive East bound and not West. Someone in their car decided to make a mockery of the road, as in destroyed the front end of his car and all lanes were blocked. Must have just happened as I was getting to that point as there were no emergency vehicles at all, just FHP was there and the cars were backing up rapidly.

For a county that supposedly is on a mandatory stay at home, there sure are a lot of folks out and about.

Well, this is ever so entertaining got a notice from PayPal saying we noticed a sign in from a device we do not recognize.

:ummm: How is that possible since I am on the same device each time and in fact I processed a purchased through DAZ last evening.

:sigh:

Look very close at the email address that send you that email.  There are scams out there that use either a closely related email address or just logos and letter head that Pay Pal uses.  Do not log in through the email. A program that is old call a skip trace log can copy your log in information and send it hackers.  Be very careful, I would just log in on a incognito page and see if there any problem with your account.
Round up all the usual suspects!
