Giveaway of the Day

Giveaway of the Day

Welcome, and how may I help you?

Come visit with all in here, have some coffee or your favorite beverage, and have loads of fun. The bar staff and keeper are always here to fill your orders. This is our gathering place where we will share greetings, pass secrets, gossip, and enjoy each other's company.

Jherrith has agreed to fire up the grill on the weekends with some of his tasty specials.....and the COFFEE will always be hot and fresh, especially with Fafnir and his bevy of waitresses.

So do I but I am certainly not holding my breath on that happening.

Just heard even more fun coming up, another ambulance company is in need of an update to their fleet of radios.

Up to 60 vehicles and subscribers radios. 120 devices possibly, the fun part is that all are on the county system which means new ID's for all and more documentation ... which is simple for me ... but :iminnocent:

The trick for these is that the new guy could possibly do them but since these radios are all APX8000 and he has no experience with them it would be quite ... :ummm: awkward for him to do them on his own.

BTW way I forgot to mention we still need to go back to the school bus depot to finish programming them before the new school year  :thud:

We are on track with a minimum of 91 hours this pay period.

And with me giving 7%, with them matching 100% on the first 4%

You would be right

Well, started the next big department, Engineering. Will say this it looks like some lessons from last year were taken to heart. As there are no earpieces or add ons with any radios. Last time a few got put on the wrong radios by accident and other claims were made that we had one and now we don't, so all of that got nipped in the bud.

:yippee:

The bad news is getting kicked out of here so early, I have to wrap it up at 3:30

:sigh:

Will do so today since I have more radios to drop off for repairs and hopefully some to pick up when I get back to the shop.

Definitely going to see if there is a way I can stay a bit later to get these done in a timely manner because based on the math leaving at that time it will take five days to do them all.

And I certainly do not have that luxury considering how many other departments I have  to complete.

Well, so far the only option I have is to start even earlier then I already do, :sigh:  and that will be the only way I can get more done in a day so as to complete this department in a more timely manner.

Mainly because after two days I am still nowhere near to being half way complete. I have 36 complete out of 85 :thud:

And it doesn't matter if you try and send another person out, unless there is a second service monitor to do the task it is a waste of time.

I am so looking forward to the solution for the next big PM push for the hotel chain. Again over 900 if not 1000 subscribers to complete and trying that with one service monitor means ... well a lot of things ... most of which I should not repeat in public or on line. :zipit:

Sucks to have overtime so readily available ... :ummm: ... oh wait the only problem with that is I will have even less of a life than I already do.

Oh how quaint it is doing the serious :rainy: now ... at least all of the laundry, dishes and cooking has been completed so I guess that is a bonus.

And how quaint :tearlaugh: Watanuki still is trying to get me to play fetch and succeeding to a certain degree
