So that means what "J" ?

One would think it means that you can't use it in a promo or an ad but you can in personal renders.....even if they are posted....or am I way off base with that assumption.

Can't use it for any type of monetary gain

If you get money for the your render and that item is in the picture that would be a violation.

I would imagine technically if it is used in a contest and I got prizes that to would count as monetary gain.

I think we all had this discussion before and came to the conclusion that non commercial only applies to using it in a Promo, Ad, or other such item to sell something of your own or promote your site.  Not so much if you win a contest or not.  That would be so hard to monitor and how would you know if you were going to win or not ahead of time.  Tis confusing for sure but I'd look into it deeper.

I think we be safe on that count for contests beside we are a very small site and monitoring every single site as you said is impossible.

I try a maximum to avoid the use of non commercials, except just for my art in gallery (here my album, or on RR). For example, i add several packs of lully before her site was closed, but very restrictive rules for use.
I think it's pity to say "non commercial", including for renders. But packs can be uses for people sometimes.
And sometimes, artists say "non commercial" on the site, and in the read me they accept commercial renders.
