Thanks Nita :) The cyclo backgrounds are not all that complicated to make. I found a ton of tutorials on the web and a nifty little template that makes it all pretty simple. :)
I was just sitting around today trying to relearn all my skills in doing textures lol. Seems this old brain didn't retain as much as I would have liked, so to that end, I will probably be throwing up more freebies here in the near future (as soon as I can remember how to package everything lol) once I get a few done that I am happy with :)
I'll have to take some time and see if I can remember how to do cyclo's and post a tutorial here so it is easy to find :)

Hey the NitaB....I agree OFW is a great artist and yup just like everything else, without the repitition we tend to lose the "knack" we have for creating stuff...lol

as for your query...IF you are not giving things away (that is freebies that can be extracted from the texture) or you are only to be the one using them you can use anything for your own personal use.....your own personal comp.

does that make sense....am thoroughly lost lately, just figured out tis FRIDAY!! and in 2 days tis April Fool's Day.

Yea, as DA said, if you are going to use them for your own personal use, then you don't need permission, but if you are going to use them in artwork that other's will see (anything that you would post up online) it's best to get permission. I usually go about doing this by sending the artist an email and awaiting an official email back from them with a yes before I go forward.

Interesting......I would think that someone who is offering a "Freebie" would not want a ton of folks asking if they could use it ....but then again...that's just me
