Title: Fantasia

Yes, that Disney classic from 1940

Been listening to a Beethoven CD in the truck during work and have heard the Pastoral Symphony more then once which prompted me watching it.

Then again since I do enjoy the Night on Bald Mountain track. What else is there to say ... :tearlaugh: However what turned out to be immensely jarring this time around was watching "Rites of Spring" supposedly a reckoning of what life was like on our planet from the beginning till now (1940)

Man what a difference 80+ years makes in the accuracy of the depiction.

Crazy is all I can say ...

Must say that the Fantasia 2000, released in 1999, as the follow up and opening with Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 is quite good.

My favorite piece though is "The Firebird"
