I Will Try The Vaseline on Tattoo's eyelids and temples!   Used to have some Star ointment, but being a small jar, the boys would turn it on a side and roll it all over the house.   I got no idea where it ended up!   But some Vaseline I can get hold of.

I hear you all speaking of things that one or both my boys have dealt with in their life times.  Fungus (Ring Worm!), Ear Mites, Fleas, sun burnt ears.   They also get mosquito bites.  If Mogwai got out for a while, he would have those burnt ears too.   SO.  Tomorrow, Tattoo gets the Vaseline face!    :woohoo:   I am glad someone thought of that!
I hope the Vaseline helps... remember to be sparce with it.  Just a dab'll do ya ;)  At least it should relieve his itching... Let us know how it turns out. (hugging Tattoo)

@ Llola;  yep it does help a bit.  He has stopped scratching so often, and when he does, he don't do it for as long.  Means less of a hamburger texture above his eyes.   I am still taking him to his doctor this coming  week.   He's due I figure for rabies booster and a checkup.  He being 13 now, I am sure he needs it!
ANd thank you all for your support, guys.   I appreciate you all!   :woohoo: :happydance:  :java: :yippee:

ooo wonderful news McGrandpa... I love Vaseline... It's a wonder salve... The vet may have something similar with antibiotic in it... but in a pinch... I always use Vaseline.

Our cats are due for shots in September... We keep up on them cause we foster kittens who usually have some sort of sickness.  We keep the babies separate but I don't wanna take any chances.  The babies don't get any shots til they are 2pounds and 2months.  Lots of times I'm bottle feeding them...so they are pretty tiny when we get them.

Keep us posted... and give the big guy a hug for me please!  ;)

I use it on the kittens and Oz...Got a squeeze tube of Vaseline.  Easier to handle when you have squirming kitties...

They adopted us.  They were hiding under my door Jam during a Thunderstorm.  So the Daughter and I gathered them up. And yes...bottle fed all three...  They all have been examined, boosted, chipped, and fixed. They will be a year old this September.... Been feeding their Mommy and Daddy for years...still do...They are truly outside cats but I've got a shelter for them a few years ago...and they are on the steps at exactly 6:30 AM every morning and 4:00 PM every night...

This is Henrietta after her Vet appointment....she didn't like the body suit so we had to switch it out to something more practical and the sleeping babies are PussPuss (the male) and Bootsy
The cat in the background in the Henrietta shot is OZ....we've had him now for 7 years...he's a rescue kitty from Hurricane Harvey.
