Well, what a concept was invited on a site walk at the local VA hospital for getting the installation of a DAS system started.

Lo and behold there is a light at the end of the tunnel .... I can finally get 17 reels at 500' each out of my shop and delivered to the site. Granted I am more then likely going to have to deliver the material but hey what do I care it is out of my shop at long last.

The other plus to this is that I can also have the head end and remote equipment delivered. Which I have to install, mind you but at least the cabling is being installed by a third party

So looking forward to getting this project rolling at long last, been in limbo due to ... yep ... red tape ...

The real amusing part is once again no one has bothered to determine what space is required for the installation of the head end and remote equipment or even if all of the parts have arrived.

Can you guess what I wound up doing ... yes, the so called "project manager" job.

This is not one of my projects, yet it looks like I just got handed the ball .... irritated  .... sort of, kind of, maybe

Now I did know I would be installing all of the head end and remote equipment but all the extra tracking of material and parts needed to make it work, in theory should have not been on my to do list.

Just saying ... not that it does me any good mind you

Time for fun and games. yesterday went on a site walk with the sub that will be doing the newest project in Maitland. So far so good, it wasn't half bad overall, at least we do not have to do anything but forward details and information between all parties involved.

Lovely scenario as long as it stays that way
