Some things on Wings 3D
« on: November 10, 2016, 04:45:17 PM »
Like i have more and more crashes with Hexagon (perhaps because it's on a laptop in 64 bit?) i looked finally this evening for Wings 3D. I'm always a little lost to move in the place, but step by step it's better.

Brief, I use only a mouse of laptop, and no mouse with a scroll. Could be annoying. But if you keep clicked ALT it's possible to use arrow in the keyboard.
Otherwise, you can move in the surface thanks to the left button. But no zoom in or out possible.
When you want be back in the first angle of scene, click simply on R.

Here my first success with Wings 3D.
I was able to create an UV map also, for a future use.

For the moment, no issue with crash  The only thing is really i need to buy a mouse in the future to scroll in scenes. Waiting, i make DIY with the lens of the camera.

Thanks! Now it's the export with UV with is strange for me. I have 5 parts but in Poser, i have only 2 parts for material applications :thud: But i suppose it's the normal way.

Very good Aelin!!! Can't imagine using it without a real mouse, the Aim and Frame command under the view menu are also very useful. It has crashed on me so enable auto backup or save manually so you don't have to :cry2: Have fun :)

Oh that is hard to have a crash :thud:  I know i have an auto backup, around each 10 minutes, but it's the time i need to decide the next step lolll
Otherwise i save manually each important step for me, and often changing name for any mistake and be able to be back before.
