How to Make a Space Render using One Light

Here is a tutorial that should help people light a space scene the easy way.  Even those it is in DAZ studio you can do this in any software that can render pictures and has full options of lights. 
1. Set up scene.
2. Place distant light in default placement.  Set light to full light setting.  Turn on shadow and make no adjustment leave in default mode.
3. Aim the light. Double check light settings.
4. Set camera.
5. Render in 3delight render engine.  For poser user use standard firefly.

1. Why does full setting for light work for a space scene?  Ans. There is no atmosphere in space. 

2. Why distant lights?  Ans.  The way a distant light work is that there are usually 8 lights side by side to work as one light. It is very good use for outdoor lighting and for light coming into a room through window as in sunlight.  Light in space is very strong since there is no atmosphere; the distant light is an excellent choice.

Note if you use the ship I used in tutorial you will have to change mats to shaders or it will not work, or modify the mat in surfaces I suspect that the cause in either ambient, reflection or in refraction.  I used dz fire's real paint to change from mat to shaders.
