When one of my cats tries to put His/Her butt in my face, I gently push it to the side. Two of our cats have really stinky gas, and I don't want that in my face. Now they rarely stick their butts in my face. Instead, McCartney and Patience put their face right in front of mine and they look me in the eyes while kneading my chest. Cookie Baby decides to use my right arm as her cradle, presenting her belly for me to rub. She loves that. I can do that with McCartney too, and he loves it.
There's a right way to rub someone the wrong way! I wrote a song about that!

Our clan bugs us in shifts.  They'll bother me for a few hours....and when Lorna wakes up....it's her turn to be the cat whisperer....and it's back and forth until Lorna has to go into the office and work....then I get them the rest of the time. 

But I have a secret weapon I use on them.  I play with them and won't let them relax and then they get worn out and all take a nap for a few hours....woooohoooo

I still play with Cookie Baby, and she enjoys it; even though she's almost 14. I play with Patience too, and sometimes with McCartney. He is the laid back one, and it's hard to get him to play; but sometimes he gets in the mood, and I take advantage of that. Patience is the rambunctious one, and when she plays, her antics are so comical and cute, she makes us laugh.
Sometimes I will sing Pink's song "I'm Gonna Start a Fight" while playing with them. They love that.

I have been having a kind of rash of 'seeing' Tattoo trotting around the place, and hearing his voice in the distance.   But he isn't too far, buried with other beloved furry relatives behind the garage.   Our Family Cemetery.   He and I were together longer than I was with any other animal.    But, Mogwai is CATching up!  :)

It's cool when it happens, isn't it?
One day, Puce showed herself - not the first nor last time. 3 days later, she litterally passed a door of the flat before my Mom. We decided to call the vet, to check if they had news from her ashes. They didn't call but the ashes were there... since 3 days.
Since few times, I can time to time feel hair passing on my leg while the 3 cats are sleeping further in the flat.

All I can tell is she isn't the first we see or hear or feel. But clearly the strongest and longest to do.

We know when Oz makes a visit....All 5 of the furry clan will stop what they are doing and look in the same direction....and follow his path through the house.

That kind of thing used to freak me out.   Then, I remembered hearing that our human babies and most of our furry family can see the "unseen" ones in the spirit world.   Just like those ones were standing right in front of them.   Now it's just normal.

Yup....you learn to accept......and be grateful that they cared enough to come back for a visit....

I just wish I could give the Ol Man a good hug and scratching!
