why did DS an poser wander so far apart  :keepauhandsoffa: :tearlaugh:
Because DAZ doesn't want any longer to share the cake with SmithMicro.  :perverted:
They want to be and stay the only number one.  :no_points:

Uh, is DS able to use .PMD files?  That is where Evolution's morphs are kept.   Once loaded, the morphs can be saved WITH the Figure when it is saved out as a new Figure.   I credit 3DAge with that useful tidbit!
Sometimes, it happens that DS can use PMD files with a figure, but not always.

Yes PMD can be used in DS, like with 182 morphs for V4

Then DS can maybe try the DEMO version anyway.   Got to say, if that demo is all you ever see of Evolution, you won't be using it long.

The weight maps won't work well in DS. The figure was made for Poser. Any DS use is purely coincidental. If you have a Pro version of Poser just export out as FBX. IIRC Studio can use FBX. problem solved.

McG what do you expect? It's a demo. If all the morphs worked and DEMO wasn't written across her back, why would you buy the full figure? She's cheap enough. $30. Find me a DAZ shape for Genesis at that price. Don't like DEMO written on her paint your own skin. Want some body shapes make you own morphs or simple pony up for the full version.

Look in the scenes tab if you want to see what the demo is all about and how PE works. You came to this figure late. I've been following it for 4 years. Don't disparage what you know not of.

I won't.   I sprang for the full version today.   Need to go install that and a couple pages of other stuff I have downloaded and not installed yet.  Windows Explorer pages.  ;)

Seeing a bunch of renders of PE over at Ero's thread at S-M has made me really want to see a bunch of that on MY system.   I loved seeing what he did in the Preview Room with it.  And while its different, it also looks like fun.  What tickles my  fancy is that you can easily change what PE character looks like using just its own morphs.  And all that for just $30!   So, here I go again!    :yippee:

Hey I like her!   PE that is.  Full version, it ain't dull!   Its bits and dials aren't all in such sensible places, but I'll figure it out.  Rendering now  next to a G2F I like.  OH I love that freckled skin it comes with!
Oh this is gonna look pretty good I think!

OK, here's a render, hide the kids eyes there be boobies in this one!   I noted the deep dimples in the lower abdomen that shouldn't be there.  Dunno what dial I spun to get that!   But once there I couldn't get rid of it.   Cleared the scene and will start over now.  Ha!  Me the rookie here!

The lovely freckled Elf on the left is PE, the gal on the right is G2F.   Rendered in Firefly PP 11.1

Not bad, not good enough to get me to part with $30 at the moment though, then there is going to be clothing fits how easy will it be to get the current wardrobe our 3d ladies have to fit her?

Really easy to fit ANY clothing to her in the fitting room. If you are not comfortable using it Ero has also made clothing manikins and tutorials that will guide you through the rather simple process. Separate download. $5

No I am not shilling for PE. I just watched how this came together over the years and know a lot of the people at SM that helped with this figure. I know the quality for the price.
