In French schools, we talk mainly of the Punic Wars (or at least it was the case in my time - with less and less time to learn, I'm not sure what children still learn), and from Romans against Greeks. A little about Cleopatra, and very short about Palmyra.
Never about Illyria.

All I know myself until now of Illyria is the myth from Cadmos and Harmonia.

Thanks for answer, I remembered this show... will post later link. It is same here we have not learned much in history about it, and it is a mistery for me...
