Well, being the obsessive collector that I am I have managed to acquire all 314 (and counting) episodes from the very first all the way to the latest. Most are originals, some have animation to replace the missing bits and some are just telesnap with surviving footage which just happens to be the ones they are currently remastering so I am calling that a win.

I hope that they keep animating the missing bits until I have a complete collection.

As it stands now I lack ten (10) for William Hartnell and seven (7) for Patrick Troughton

and when the next three are released for Troughton that number will go down, from 17 to 14

.

Well, they now have the region two version of the Faceless Ones available

They have three version of it a complete animation in black and white of all episodes. One with the surviving episodes along with the animated episode all in the original black and white.

And a color version, so far I have only watched the complete animated version. Just started the one with the surviving footage this morning.

In theory "Fury from the Deep" is to be released next, although I would have preferred "The Wheel in Space" first but

New Dr. Who to add to the collection is always a good thing.

I'm glad they've reconstructed many of the Troughton era. not many left to go.
Thank VHS N.Z. and Australia kept the masters.

Six more for Troughton at the moment. Once the previously mentioned two are released then it will down to four.
