Flame Painter (https://www.escapemotions.com/products/flamepainter/)

Flame Painter is a unique paint application that lets you easily create original artworks, light effects, unconventional design, or beautiful backgrounds with flame brushes.

New features in Flame Painter 3 include Flame Painter Connect - a Photoshop plug-in, ability to use Wacom tablet pressure pen and Leap Motion camera and a smooth import and export of layered PSD and SVG vector files. Multi-core engine, new high resolution renderer and Photoshop blending modes have made this software a powerful tool for creating professional artworks.

Original flame algorithm was created by Peter Blaškovič within the 'I am an Artist' project in 2009. He believes that "Everyone can be an artist, we just need the tools which become the inspiration for creativity."

Today it is used by thousands of professional CG artists, designers, enthusiasts or children in school who want to create original artworks and we have had nothing but great feedback.

Inspire yourself with hundreds of unique flame brushes, feel free to follow the strokes and let your creativity flow.

I will check with the actual creator site for sponsorship, the notice you got is from RDNA or SmithMicro, can't recall...lol

did you go there and check out the other program they have?

and the contest that gets over on the 30th of this month?

It was from Smith-Micro.

You mean that 'Amberlight' program? It appears to be a flame-fractal generator, kind of like Apophysis...only better. That's pretty cool too.

Next month's contest would be okay, or this month's or whenever. I just think those would be cool alternate prizes or additional prizes.

LadyA, I don't know if you follow or not this topic, but for 18 hours now you can have Flame Painter 3.2.0 (https://www.giveawayoftheday.com/flame-painter-3-windows-mac/) for free (just you can't use it for commercial things).
