Mogwai eats his want of whatever I put down, then strolls off to groom and nap.  Even with fresh cooked chicken.  Tattoo cleans the plate though.  Then grooms and naps.  So, he's normal after all eh?

Both of our cats are hard to determine what they like, opened two cans of pate cat food, and one can of chunked light tuna in three days, and they turned their noses up at all of it. Somedays they will eat what I give them, but other days it gets wasted. When cat food is over $2.00 a can (not those big cans, but the small ones, 'Little Friskies'), well you can see how that can be expensive after wasting several cans because that's not what they want. This morning I opened another can, and divided it between Cookie Baby and McCartney. Thankfully, she gobbled hers down, but McCartney just sniffed it and walked away. To be fair, he does catch a lot of prey and eats it. I suppose he prefers that over processed cat food.

When my tribe of indoor cats get picky....and don't want to eat what is given to them...My tribe of outdoor cats love it....something different for a change LOL

When we started with organic food, our 2 ladies weren't happy, specially with the wet food. But it was that wet food, or no wet food at all. And the dry food was organic too, but they accepted it easier than wet food. After 2 or 3 weeks, they understood they wouldn't be back to old wet food and tried for good the new one; it was 13 years ago. Now, they love their wet food and one even turn around us before the end of dinner to have it quicker And when we have ended, she meows loudly (or even loudly if she started when turning) because we shouldn't make more than 10 seconds to prepare the table for them
Of course, once in a while, one or the other can refuses to eat many of the wet food. Generally, Puce eats all her part in once; then minutes later (like now) is meowing to have more Giroflée prefers to take what she needs at that time, and continues her plate later, under watch to avoid her sister steals the food. No wet food during the night, but in the morning yes if she always has somethin - which is regular. And she can refuse the wet food at that moment because she wants to have something else. Knowing no way, but you know how cats are stubborn

Cats are willful creatures, and I believe they would just need the right shape of mouth to talk to us. Then we might get them to say what they want. LOL

This morning's 'efforts' on part of the cats to get me awake to go get their foods ready for them started at 2am and ended at 5am when I moaned groaned and sat up in bed.  I grabbed the wheelchair over,  transferred to it, gathered the things I take to the kitchen.  Which is the moment two cats tails went straight up and the cats ran like a shot out of bedroom to the kitchen.   They Are Waiting For ME!  That was the message I think.  Hmm.  Two things had to be emptied in bathroom first.  That got Tattoo's curiosity going.  He saw then ran back to the kitchen.    In kitchen finally, I put COFFEE on!  Then checked my blood sugar.  THEN got boys wet food out of pantry, got out a saucer and loaded it up for them.   This is the stuff that disappears in only a few seconds.  It had been 4 days since I put any wet food out for them.  They were craving it real good!   Wow, as clean as the plate looks, I will still wash it proper.  They licked it clean!   I put fresh water and dry food down.  I must have gotten their meaning correct.   They didn't make an armed escort back to my bedroom to pester me with attention!  LOL!   They will do that until I DO get it Right.  Ha!
