This was ever so much rubbish for me today. Went to Barnes and Nobles no problem on the no need for a mask concept the problem was when I got inside and was browsing in my usual nooks and crannies, next thing I know I am choking and coughing and having great difficultly breathing ...thank goodness I had the inhaler in my pocket.

My oh my that was a nasty double handful of minutes. Fortunately the inhaler brought me back to normal in short order ... but it sure did sucks balls to say the least until it took effect and thankfully it did in short order.

Did you have any warning that it was coming? Do you think it was a reaction to something specifically in B & N?

The only advance warning was I started to cough for no particular reason. The coughing although I was able to suppress some of it, that just made it worse as then the wheezing kicked in ... so I can not really define anything specific, more then likely dust. I mean I am in a book store, although they be a trifle cleaner then say my library at the house

I react to certain things that I can't smell at all. Dust and some dish soaps, for example.

Only use the dishwasher so haven't ran into that before or is that yet?

Was looking at the barometer and it is looking bad for the evening hours for me. But at least I am inside so it will not be to bad thankfully

To clarify I use soap tablets so not noticing anything due to how it is packaged which I guess is a good thing

The Benadryl is good for those inward snotty symptoms, as it were. Allergy sufferers know the aspirin/benadryl quite well. My doctor said to USE Benadryl for both my allergies when they act up and for an occasional sleep aid. Hey, it works! I use it. ONE caplet cozy and drowsy. Two knocks me out. BUT, you do what your doctor said to do brah! NOT what MY doc tells ME to do! ;) Duh!

I am indeed allergic to soap as well as some kinds of dish washer detergent.
