Title: LaDonna's DOF Tutorial
Post by: DarkAngel on December 11, 2018, 05:41:55 PM
This is an older tut that LaDonna (AnimaGemini) created years ago that I found on my computer so thought to add it in here for others that might need help with Depth of Field.

Tutorial by Ladonna for Poser DOF

I have here a small trick to better control your DOF. Some kind of tracking. (Till we get a real one)

First create your scene. Make Focus Distance guide visible. Save the scene.

Now load it in your Poserfile editor (Pz3 file.) Now look for the controlprop Focus distance control

It is listed two times, take the second (scroll down )

You have two values which you can now edit

Hidden change to 0
Add to menue to 1

Now save this edited pz3file. (Overwrite or different don't matter)
Now load your scene new and you remark that you have now the DOF guide as prop

(Go in your menue to props )

You can move the guide now up and down, left and right. Only for the Focus distance you have to do it still in the Camera.

That's interesting.
Even if these options don't appear in DS (or I never noticed them), I'll see if I can use that trick by a way or another.
:ty: to you for found it that tuto, and to Ladonna for having made that tuto!
