Good Morning to all....

Well, the wedding was a blast and went smoothly...No fights, arguments, or pouting by anyone...Even the kids behaved...somewhat....But I guess doing somersaults on the dance floor while in a dress is a form of celebration...the good thing is....girls no longer wear "Panties" under their dresses...they got smart...they wear shorty shorts...(That is what my great granddaughters told me they were)....

But I can tell I'm certainly an old fart....Danced a lot ....The Bride (Mindy) was the first dance, all the BridesMaids wanted to dance, so they were next,  The flower Girls (which consisted of my Great Granddaughters and their friends, and then Travis and Mindys friends wanted to dance because their husbands don't dance.  Those dancing lessons my Grandmother made me go to at Arthur Murrays paid off LOLOL.  By the time Lorna and I were ready to go to the hotel, my body was completely shot :thud:

So a good time was had by all! Excellent! I love seeing weddings go as planned! Looks like this one really did! :woohoo:

I'm posting in sections today...don't want a two mile post.....

PDG....That was such a terrible storm that hit Nova Scotia and related areas. Hope you get more news from them...sounds like they've all had a rough time of it.

I have a very dear friend who lives in Nova Scotia and I haven't heard from her yet.  I've known Doreen for many many years.  She makes homemade soap and when the wife was alive she loved getting it.  Since Cleaver Brooks was somewhat in the area, I paid her a visit to pick up some more soap for Linda...and we've been close ever since and I visited many times and became her daughters Godfather. Hope I hear from her soon.

Good talking to you last night Fafnir....Remember what I said...Buckle done, but if they say GO....then GO...And thanks for the :java:

I'll be in and out of here today.  Still working on getting the dead computer back to life.....Love it...any mind challenge at my age is a fun thing.  I may get electrocuted or blow all the circuits and components up...but just think of all the fun I'll have.   :woohoo: :grenade:

I hope you hear something soon. I believe that Cleaver Brooks is in Dartmouth. My kid sister is near there. Mostly wind damage in that part of the Province. Trees down and power out but it's all coming back up in that area.

The bad stuff is from waves. Fifty foot or higher storm surge waves. Water higher than a 5 story building slams into the front of your home and crashes over it. Not good. Lots of homes had the waves break down doors and windows on the sea side and rip the back walls completely off the rear of the house on the lea side coming out.

Lot's of places are solid rock under less than 2 inches of soil. Homes there are on posts drilled into the bedrock. The sea just came in and lifted them up, only to crash back to earth a hundred feet from shore. If you were lucky. Elsewise, you are swimming when your house gets sucked out to sea.

I was lucky with making an image too large for the gallery to take. Made me rethink it a bit. The original has a lot of flotsam and jetsam in the waves and on the rocks. It was a little too stark upon further reflection and uploaded an earlier version.

Glad you had fun. No fights at the reception is hit or miss at most weddings. I refuse to be drawn into a discussion about the girl's panties however. :nopanic;

I wonder about CaliVee. FeralWoman I think elsewhere she is known. She was in NFLD last I heard and in a mobile home. That could be problematic.

Good afternoon!
It was a foggy then cloudy day. The supposed rain didn't come. ANd tonight the wind is blowing.

St.Pierre and Miquelon come in the news once in a while, worse than for caribbean islands.
Years ago, no matter where it was, we had news with hurricans/typhoon, earthquakes, volcanoes... Almost not a news without that. Now, if it's not in the "hexagon", no news.

Glad to see you are back at home TL. And see the bright side: you have 4 little massagists there, ready to help your body - at the condition they can sleep on you after they walked on :tearlaugh:

Didn't see CalieVee (Faeryl Womyn) since July. Hope she is fine, and same for the most of people there.

A big steaming mug of :tea:  for me, Fafnir. Thought I could get this month theme done but...NO!!!! Seems inspiration has eluded me once again. Typical flunky muse! OH, well! Maybe next month contest will bring a subject that I can use a few of my Poser collections.  :woohoo: :OMFG:

Have not heard from Faeryl Womyn in about three years. Had been wondering if she was still around. Now I am worried about her, because of the storm damages.

I think the last post I saw from her was in one of the manga/anime threads.

She was in the DAZ forums yesterday so I'm hoping that means she's all right. :woohoo:
