Good Afternoon to all....

The Queen has passed indeed but what a ripe old age with so many accomplishment and so much history.  Loved everything about her....Pure Class...Not a big fan of Charly Boy but we shall see.

Well, I've been tackling Windows 11 most of the day and testing everything out.  Yup...just got the long awaited download this morning and said...What the hell, Why Not....  Checked some of my programs and they work fine.  Got to get use to a lot of changes made but so far nothing major to deal with...but still got a bunch more to check LOLOL...

Hi Hawk....Been to your neck of the woods a number of times.  The Company I visited at least 4 times a year is on Washington Avenue in Da Bronx. 

A beautiful day today,,,,,not that I got outside much....fed the cats and kitty, put up the flag, filled up the water bowls, and got the mail....that was it...then back in to Win 11...but as mentioned..no major problems at all....

Hey Sir Knight!! You looked at any of that text to image ai? I've been playing with StableDiffusion using a text to type to input prompts while I'm stuck laying around. It's eating a hell of a lot of hard drive space with crappy output I have to constantly trash, but it's actually a lot of fun and I've got fairly good at tuning output into something I can live with. Scary tech. if they fine tune the model weights.

I've been resisting so far.  You should drop one or two into the Gallery if you haven't already.  I'm very interested to see what you've done.

My friends from other forums have gone crazy with it.  I'm working on annual performance reviews instead.

Yup...working good for me also Fafnir....Just making sure some of my ancient programs works with the new technology LOL....As mentioned...so far...so good.   Finding things has been my biggest PITA....but I'm getting there.   

I won't put it on the Laptop or the Office Computer.....She's in the office taking online classes from Swiss Colony on how to work from home using their system...and I don't want to mess up anything on the office computer....The Laptop is to old for Win 11 LOLOL

Yes, the Queen is dead.  Long live the King(?).  I thought they were still arguing over who would take the crown.  I guess that not so bonny prince Charley won the toss.

Had several days of rain here and it was lovely.  Not so lovely when the light show special effects started.  Had only a couple of mini-brownouts that shut off my clock but didn't affect the 'puter.  Meh.Was out getting my Subie's brakes checked out when it really came down for a while.  Luckily, I had just returned from a dinner at IHOP when it finally decided to come a crashin' down.

My Brother in RI said Providence is still having problems from the recent flooding they had.  He had appts at the VA Clinic/Hospital but he couldn't make it due to I-95 being shut down in some spots

Hey y'all, we may get our first 'cool' day a little early.   Normally,  here in Texas,  we see that day after October 1.   Looks like next week might see a high in the 70's.   SO, two or three weeks early.   Could spell a hard cold winter, could mean just a nice day a bit early.  Heh!  Time will tell, yeah?  :)
