Giveaway of the Day

Giveaway of the Day

Welcome, and how may I help you?

Come visit with all in here, have some coffee or your favorite beverage, and have loads of fun. The bar staff and keeper are always here to fill your orders. This is our gathering place where we will share greetings, pass secrets, gossip, and enjoy each other's company.

Jherrith has agreed to fire up the grill on the weekends with some of his tasty specials.....and the COFFEE will always be hot and fresh, especially with Fafnir and his bevy of waitresses.

Dirty Dancing was good.   Period.  Roadhouse, in spite of having Sam Elliot as Patrick Swayzes mentor and fellow butt kicker...flopped.
I think Independence Day and Independence Day: Resurgence were absolutely preposterous.  But fun to watch anyway.  I don't recall anything in either to give serious thought to except for possible technology advances.    It's a popcorn flick to me.   No matter how much ya eat of it, you still got room for supper!  ;)

Good morning, Fafnir, PDG and McG.

Fafnir, some of your strongest coffee, please.  Rough night and long day ahead.

PDG, glad you've located the song, even it's in a sound track.  I quite enjoyed Road House.  Has some great quotes:

“I'll get all the sleep I need when I'm dead.”

“My way...or the highway.”

and lots more.  Is Jeff really blind?

McG: Glad you found the file.  The location that I suggested is where it puts the file when there's a BSOD.  We should probably move further discussion to another forum to avoid boring the uninterested.

Some games seem to have a residual affect on a computer when they are uninstalled. Kind of like the nasty surprise left behind when you kick a bad dog out. Trouble is when you step in it... :whatthe: :ARNOLD:
No, it don't even smell like chocolate! Yyeck!
DAZ Studio, Bryce, Poser, Wings 3D, Howler, Blender, PSP, Hexagon, MSO PowerPoint & Word, just a few of the programs I use.

Yes, he was. His family still manages a web site for him if I recall correctly. He had a bar of his own till he died; where of course, he and the guys were the house band. It was underneath a biker dive bar I managed back in those days till i took over running a three story night club for the Ballanger brothers on the opposite side of the street. If you remember Kevin Costner's Dancing With Wolves, Grahame Greene was another regular patron of mine when he got too crazy for Jeff downstairs. I knew a lot of people in those days due to being a ACTRA (actra.ca) member as a film extra, and the band booker / manager / head bar tender for the clubs I ran over the years.

A very long time ago McG I had a lady that would claim that buttered popcorn was supper. Carbs, salt, and dairy. Add a coke for the sugar and caffeine and that was all a girl needed for supper. I never convinced her otherwise. I last saw her about 20 years ago. She weighed over 220lbs at 5'4'' and had diabetes. Sitting all her day at an office desk job probably didn't help.
