Good Morning to all.....

I'll take a pot of coffee Fafnir....Restless night...very little sleep....I have those nights every now and then...woke up twice and just sat in the living room with the kitties and Oz for a bit...and watched the wind and rain raise hell.

Might do something I haven't done since my last surgery....take a nap later today.

PDG....The last Derecho we had was in 2020....and it was wicked. Don't want to see another one anytime soon.

Good afternoon!
This morning at job, when talking with a colleague I suddenly realized that starting tonight I'm in a 4 days weekend  So be ready to see me a little more in the corridors the next days!

TL, I had a night recently where I had many difficulties to sleep. Mind simply didn't want to stop thinking. I have no idea how finally I ended by sleep, but I woke up several times.

way back in the 1970's I spent two years in Austin Texas at a boarding school (I had a few emotional problems at that time). While there I saw something I never thought possible in weather, five tornadoes, all in a row, as though they were marching like an army. The clouds were tubular shaped, and rolling across the sky. It was the most weird thing I ever witnessed. Now I see this description of a derecho, so I researched it. I found pictures of the derecho type of weather, and read the articles explaining what they are, and it fits perfectly into what I witnessed in Austin. I feel a lot of sympathy for those that suffer from the effects of such a storm system.

Good News on the time off.....

On a good note.....I rarely have problems sleeping through the night....but every now and then I just have to have a bad night  to remind me of what they were like LOL

Trade you my tinnitus which wakes me every couple of hours every night, to have a night of straight through sleep.

So that's what sang me to sleep.  Had a great night.  Just listening to the rain and the hailstones clatter on everything.  Seemed to come in waves.  Oh well, good sleepin' weather.

O.o Mom got a set of Hearing aids for Tinnitus software on them that Help her. Not sure if You need those.

Jerrith, I too have Tinnitus in both ears. Sometimes the ringing is so loud I can't hear other sounds clearly, even with my good ear. It does keep me awake at night quite often. I know what you are going through, because I am going through it too.
