Always good to have a job that is not the same each day.  I loved my job just because of that.  If I got bored...I'd go and visit a distributor LOL....

Yea, we have politics going in here also....It's like a 3 ring circus without a Ringmaster....

As for the "Switching of the Closets" goes....It's always better then digging for the clothes of the season LOL....Plus...a lot of items that had that "maybe someday I'll throw it out" finally DO get thrown out or given away...

I'm using the same six red SOLO cups to start this years pot cuttings that I used last year. The same six red SOLO cups I used twice last year. The same six red SOLO cups I received cuttings in the year before that. Does that make me a horder?

I switch the shoes by the door. Lose the boots and break out the sandals even though we we just above freezing this morning. I have winter and summer divided into separate closets normally. When the wife was alive there were garbage bags with winter clothes that were swapped for the summer bags. Hated it. Inefficient.

Summer balcony vs winter balcony. There's the transformation.

After that short heatwave of two days we are back in the brrrrr temps....but....Lorna and I figured if we changed out the closets to Spring and Summer wear....the temps will follow...

Was on my way out when I read this story and said WOW....  How far is this place from where you are Sir Knight...

"NORTH HUNTINGDON TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A 15-year-old girl was struck by lightning while inside her Pennsylvania home on Monday evening, fire officials confirmed.

At least five homes in the area were hit by lightning, including the home where the teenage girl was struck.

The fire captain of the Circleville Fire Department, Keith Gray, said the lightning went through the girl's pinky finger and out of her left leg.

Giana Scaramuzzo said she was treated by EMS and is OK.

"All of a sudden I hear the loud sound of thunder, and I see lightning, and I see it reflect from my mirror, and all of a sudden I feel like a shock in my pinky, and then it goes up my body and out through my leg," Scaramuzzo said."

TL, that's out near Pittsburgh.  I'm on the other side of the state.  My brother-in-law did get struck by lightning here, though.  Pennsylvania: the Lightning State?   :OMFG:

Good morning, Fafnir, PDG and assorted guests.

Fafnir, all office politics all the time at work today so I think I'll start with just :java:, please.

No kidding, PDG.  The sort of thing that can just "light up your life!"  Closest I ever came to that was when the bolt struck a clothes line right outside my window during my callow youth.  Of course, sitting in a tank in the middle of the New Mexican desert with your antenna still pointing straight up is a close second.  Mostly fibreglass with a copper core, thank goodness, but the pucker factor was still there.  When that's the tallest object for miles in all directions, you begin to rethink your mortality.  Especially when the ammunition you would normally have on board is electrically fired.

And now for something completely different.  As a disabled vet, I have at my disposal a power scooter.  Okayyyyyyyy.  I got Connie one as she is starting to have difficulties.  Finally got a receiver hitch on our Forrester, and they just delivered the one for my Baja.  That's the good bits.  Bad bit is I got one of those carriers that mounts on receiver hitch to carry said cart.  Unfortunately, can only get Class 1 hitch for both vehicles.

Who would have thunk it?   :whattodo:   Two little four bangers not being able to use a heavier class hitch?

Anyway, with Connie's it is usable, with a lot of care.  I can barely get mine loaded.  Her's goes inside the Forrester no prob.  Light enough that we can both get her loaded.  Mine on the other hand, would give the incredible Hulk problems.  When on the carrier, it hit the driveway when we took it out on the road and every time we hit a bump or a dip in the road.

Anyone out there know a good place to get a good little utility trailer?
Hipshot

Right, 'ere we go.  Roll cross country and go through the ditch . . . fire main gun to look . . . Oooops.  Is it supposed to do that?
