No leaks. That is the best I could hope for as a start. I'm very happy. Very broke; but very happy none the less. There are no leaks. W11 install was painless over the wired network. I don't have wifi turned on here. More pain than it's worth. I'm backing up the clean install now before I do something stupid to it. Hope it doesn't take the 10 hours it claimed it would when I started.

Mornin' all.  I think that I am now back from being AWOL.  But, this time I have a REALLY good excuse.  Finally got my daughter out of the house.

 

At long last.  After twelve years of putting up with her nonsense.   (She's on the low side of the frightful Forties!!!!!!!)   We got her in alright, but that still didn't end the drama.  She called the day after to tell us that her cat was missing and that SOMEONE - your guess is as good as mine - got in and let cat out.  Didn't touch anything of value.  Just let her cat escape.

    


I think the bloody cat just shot past her in the dark . . . . like about Oh Dark Thirty.  Came back a day or so later no problem.  Thankfully, her brother knows the effect she has on us . . . and anyone else for that matter . . . . and is going to see if he can't keep her in present situation. 


Meantime, Connie is attempting to sort out the mess she left in what was my office/her room/my office once again.  So, I hopefully can get started on projects without getting derailed on the drama express.  We shall see.

Congrats on the new system, PDG!    Your other 32 gigs can be added easily later.  That's what I did.  No problems!   I sure do like the specs on that new Nv RTX graphics card.   You will be ahead of the whole crop of gamers for a long time with that card!

Yeah; gamers. Nope. I don't play nice with others. I only play online when I feel like I want to be abused. That means almost never. I play games for fun and most online folk are just plain annoying. Especially if you are better than them or have nicer in game stuff. No good having the most gorgeous environments, lighting effects, movements et. al. if some twit is laying the rapid fire on you. You can't appreciate it and are spending so much time saving your own ass to actually check out the game. Life is more than tracer fire and flames and games should be for enjoyment rather than elevated stress levels.
